Dear Friends,
As we begin the work of the 105th General Assembly in the Senate next week, one of our objectives will be to enhance accessibility to legislative information.
I have revamped my website, www.marknorris.org , with some new features. You’ll find periodic survey questions posted to accelerate feedback and your input as well as links to video, contact numbers for key government agencies, and a section devoted to Tennessee’s senior citizens.
I hope that the enhanced website will provide another channel of communication for us to better stay in touch. As always, I welcome your comments and appreciate your support.

Norris Revamps Website for Constituents
NASHVILLE, Tenn. --- State Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris (R-Collierville) introduced a new version of his website, www.marknorris.org , designed to make legislative information more readily available to the public. The enhancements reflect Norris’ continuing efforts to make state government more relevant by making it more accessible to Tennesseans.
“One of our goals this session is to capitalize on the sense of renewal the election of new leadership has brought to Nashville,” Norris said. “Increased access enhances interaction which can make government more relevant in the daily lives of Tennesseans.”
The improved site includes video access to media, links to proposed legislation, a new section dedicated to issues affecting senior citizens and a “question of the month” for interactive opinions.
“While my website is no substitute for the media available online, it provides an opportunity to communicate without worrying about the restrictions of time or space commonplace in some of today’s outlets,” Norris said.
In addition to legislative updates and news, Norris will continue to post upcoming events and contact information for key state departments.
The website was not developed nor is it maintained at taxpayer expense.
