Transportation was the topic of the week beginning with the University of Memphis Intermodal Freight Institute’s Conference on Tuesday at the FedEx Institute of Technology.

TDOT hosted a regional summit at the Botanic Garden Tuesday afternoon to discuss updated transportation plans. I serve on the Rural Transportation Planning Organization (RPO) for Fayette, Tipton and Lauderdale Counties.

Tennessee remains No. 1 in automotive manufacturing in the United States which brought the Alliance of Automotive Manufacturers to Nashville for its annual meeting Tuesday night. I was the evening’s speaker.
