Playground

A new playground is estimated to cost $60,000. We are halfway there through donations, our fund-raiser Read-A-Thon and box tops. To date we have received $1,800 from box tops. We anticipate raising $1,000 in April. The special April contest has many incentives. The classroom in each grade level with the most box tops collected will win an ice cream sundae party. Classes that bring in 1,000 box tops will win FunQuest bowling/skating passes. The grand prize, a celebration on a giant moon bounce, will be awarded Friday to the classroom that brings in the most box tops.

We will be selling maroon Collierville Dragon armbands. The cost will be $3, or two for $5. An order form went home with students Wednesday. They also will be sold during field days and at the centennial celebration Saturday. Dragon bobble heads will be sold for $30. All proceeds go to the new playground.
